Raya holiday (Day 1)

Day 1 @ Melaka

We started our journey after breakfast. It's a sunny day...everyone is wearing sunglasses including Kiat. I think i have to buy him one because mine was too big for him, haha!

Reached Melaka at noon. I never have been to Melaka since my last visit with my hubby 4 years ago. But, nothing much changes. You will still see a lot of chicken rice shops once you enter to Melaka town.

Of course never forget to mention, Tan Kim Hock centre that sells products that are locally produced. It also famous with its cendol, a must try!

Guess what? We spent almost an hour just to enter to Melaka town and to find a car park. Phew...it's crowded with cars and people! Hot somemore...under the sun.

Very hot. Rest and buy for a drink first

Hungry...we went to Jonker Walk to look for food. Thought of having the famous chicken rice for lunch, however...see the queue! People is queuing till the bridge at Melaka river. No joke! Everywhere is crowded like nobody business.

Decided to lepak first since we could not get to eat at any of the restaurant.

Hmm…nevertheless, rubbish everywhere. Malaysian…human being! Haiz…

Went into a souvenir shop, saw this…Mona Lisa toothpaste…not! It’s a tissue holder! See, Kiat & I both with the cowboy hat! Warning! Photo taking is not allowed in the shop. Opsss…I din’t even realised that they have put up a big signboard somewhere in the shop =p

We could not tahan with the hot sun and finally we went into a restaurant that sells ice kacang and cendol. Hmm…it’s cooling at last.

Then, we continue our journey...not the crowded Jonker Walk anymore...but to the garden and elsewhere.

At A Famosa

Kiat likes playground the most. He is happily playing the spinner with a group of kids.

But, kesian the daddy…stepped on the mud just to let Kiat to ride on to the spinner. No worry, daddy. Kiat loves you!

After clean up, we decided to leave Melaka and go Port Dickson to have early dinner as we did not have proper meal since breakfast. We stayed in a service apartment at Palm Spring, PD. Both Kiat & Venice playing while waiting for the rest before dinner.

Alamak, we thought it would not be as much people as Melaka in PD...manatau, all the chinese seafood restaurant was full house. Finally we managed to get a table in one seafood restaurant called "Yu Har Hai" in cantonese, meaning Fish Prawn Crab! Ahaha! >.<

Reached the restaurant at 9pm. It's not an early dinner but almost supper time! Superb hungry...

So sorry, I didn’t managed to take any photo on the food we ordered as I am so the hungry after waited for an hour before the food was served. Yes, an hour! The food was served at 10.15pm and I am busy eating. After the dinner, we went back to the apartment to take rest.

Everyone was so tired and preparing to sleep. Kiat felt a bit too excited after he knew he get to swim the next day at Teluk Kemang. He is playing with Venice, jumping and flipping around on the bed. He didn’t even want to sleep. Somemore, he vommited when he is having milk on the bed…and I am the one who has to clean up =( U imagine that, everyone is going into the bed and I am washing and cleaning up the mess alone in the bathroom =( wuwuwu~~~

What a tiring night…
