Today noon i had lunch with the group of colleague from branding & research unit. This is a farewell lunch for Hock Chuan - my ex-sifu aka ex-direct manager. He is the one that i first met when i join the company and he taught me lots of things. By this Friday, he is going to leave our department and going to other entity of our company, promoted as Head of Department of Mass Comm & Marketing. Hurray! Congrats to him!
The farewell lunch is supposed to start at 12.30 noon at Quattro, Avenue K. 9 of us. But because i went to KLCC with Suria to collect my iPhone 3GS, both of us were late! YESSSSSS...i got my 3GS finally!!! >.< Opsss...over excited. Back to the farewell lunch...
When both Suria & I reach Quattro, all of them are having their appetizer already. Never wait for us! What to do? They were hungry. So, we sit down and ordered the set lunch. No budget for champaign as tomorrow / the next two days, there will be another farewell for him! That's for department and this is for the farewell within the unit. Sob...sob...have to save some money. But the set lunch is also not that cheap yea...RM25.80 per person + service tax AND the service was so...so lousy =( They took "years" to serve you two glasses of sky juice after the reminders, again and again! Yea...perhaps, they need to get the "juice" from the "sky" huh?

Eating time!
The variety of set lunch
1) Tomyam Spagetti
2) Steak
3) Fried rice
4) Sorry, i could not remember the exact name of this, but it sounds like "Altantuya Special" ...it's basically the rice and green curry chicken). My dish...
All the set lunch comes with the appetizer (soup) + dessert (melted ice cream+mango)...yaiks! Did not manage to take the photo as the dessert really looks geli!
We ended the lunch with a very super short speech from HC - thank all of us! Then? then? then? Nothing else =p
What else? Back to work loh!
