Good Good Lunch(es)!

This whole week I have been eating well for my lunch, or should I say – luxury treat for myself? :p Normally I will go with my lunch gang (my colleagues) – basically there are two groups of them – halal group and non-halal group :p

Early this week, we went lunch with Connie at Xin Wah Restaurant, which well known with the Bak Kut Teh. It serves pork, so we did not ajak the Muslim colleagues to go along with us. The restaurant is located in Queen’s Park, corner lot. Besides the bak kut teh, the fish head was also nice and yummy with the bean paste. Also ordered vegetables and kam hiong fried lala.

The lunch at the next day, we went with the “halal” group :) We had Johnny’s steamboat at BB Plaza. The food? We ordered the individual set – RM13.90+ per person, so it’s ok and can be acceptable.

I really impressed my lunch today and it satisfied me!!! We had steamboat (yes, steamboat AGAIN!) at Lot 10 – Shabu One Restaurant. Kenneth recommended it to us as it’s having a promotion, which the buffet steamboat is now offered @ RM16.80+ per person (member’s price). The soups their served were really tasty. No MSG? I doubted so. But it’s really tasty. I personally like the tom yam soup.

They have variety of food, vegetables, sauces, cooked food, appetizers etc for you to choose.

The environment was nice and comfortable.

This is called “Yat-Wok-Shok” in Cantonese, hehehe!

There were not many people even during lunch hour, as I believe the restaurant is still newly opened. Not many people will be thinking to have steamboat in Lot 10, right? Or they even never think of it as they do not know about this restaurant. Hmm…except people who know Jogoya Restaurant @ Starhill, which it’s a place to have buffet steamboat around that area.

But, it’s really worth to give it a try during the promotion period. I am sure I gonna go there for the 2nd time.
