My baby check up

Yesterday I went for pregnancy check up and according to the doc, baby is now 10weeks old and in good condition. This was the first time Alex saw the baby through the ultrasound. He definately excited when he saw the baby moving during the scan. Heartbeat was clearly seen. The shape of baby, hands & legs were formed. And baby is so small now with the size of about 3.5cm, what a miracle! Previously during my first pregnancy, I went for check up all by myself. He did not even get the chance to see the first baby while he was being delivered, as he is not allowed to enter the labour room in Hospital UM.

This time with no choice, I was referred to a specialist at Sunway Medical Centre because doc found a cyst in my uterus. To be safe, I will be having my follow up check ups and observation at Sunway till the baby delivery. So, because it’s a private hospital, I think they can allow Alex to enter the labour room this round. And because of this, he has to work harder to earn the medical fees, as it’s not cheap to deliver a baby there, I heard.

Consulted doc yesterday on my baby and the cyst condition and so far, there is no enlargement on the cyst and no harm to the baby. Thank god…I really hope that the baby is fine all the way and I definitely prefer normal birth. Next 2 weeks, within the 13th week, I have to go through NT scan just to make sure baby is free from the possibility of Down syndrome. Have to spend money again, hahaha! The NT scan will cost about RM200+ and my every month check up costs me about RM150.

As compared to my first baby, this second baby is much “expansive”, kekeke! But most importantly, everyone is healthy and safe!
